  My inspiration for the development of this product came to me after I made the commitment to, annually, provide all of the make-up and skin care products needed for instruction purposes and use, by teenage girls enrolled in a girls' self-esteem program. Each year I am informed of the number of girls enrolled in the program, however considering that they have multi skin tones and are of many ethnicities, I needed to create a kit from which each girl would be able to easily achieve a beautiful, natural, healthy, age appropriate make-up application. Not realizing it at the time, I also designed the Professional, Refillable "People's Colors Box"® for myself - a very busy, multi-tasking, traveling woman - and also for myself - a professional make-up artist, whom all 35+ years combined, has worked mostly "on-location". To quote myself, "If for none other than selfish reasons, I do what I can to bring you the best". Like "the cobbler's kids who have no shoes", I amaze myself by "what a mess" my personal and professional collection of make-up products routinely becomes. Not to mention, the time and stress you must now invest in order to get onto an airplane without accidentally leaving out what you need - in order to travel as light as possible.  Well, I've found the solution - and it's way past due. If you can relate, I designed this color box for you too !

  I call this make-up kit The Professional, Refillable "People's Colors Box"® because I designed it with one major goal in mind. This goal being to have one box of shades from which any person can achieve a very natural or even more dramatic make-up application - regardless of their natural skin tone, ethnicity, skin type or age. Use the contents of this box to conceal, correct, define and enhance all facial features, including eyebrows. I have achieved this goal with the "People's Colors Box"®.

  When you are working as a professional make-up artist, on-location, somebody always needs to have something touched up. So, you run around with an apron full of "everything", and you learn to apply make-up with ambidextrous hands - each holding more products and brushes. Well, I've found a way to put much of what is necessary in this one slim box.

  Please know that what is contained in this box is top of the line, full size, oil-free, professional media, mineral make-up. This is not one of those "try me size" and/or import products that contains - who knows? Also, though recently reformulated to be talc and paraben-free, most of what is in here has comprised my list of top selling make-up shades - sold individually - for years. All Make My Day Beautiful !® make-up and skin care products are - and always have been - made in the U.S.A. and Canada, with the exception of an eyeliner pencil that is made in Germany. The entire contents of this box is made in the USA.

  Then, there's the value. Your "People's Colors Box"® is completely refillable ! Buy only what you need - as you use it ! I am miffed that - especially in these tough economic times - a popular department store brand's seasonal, eye shadow quad box contains .11oz/ 3.5g . That's the combined content of all 4 colors ! Of course, it's non-refillable. It sells for $42.00 . This is not a designer line, but each of this brand's (and many other department/specialty store) individual products come in their very own beautiful, bulky box. "Oui !" That being said, the quantity of the quality content of the "People's Colors Box"® is quite amazing. The two full size highlight blushes and shadow - alone - are each .14oz/ 4g ! The total ingredient content of this color box is 1.15oz / 33.2g !

  Aside from "Dual Duty" Concealer/Eye Shadow Base, all ten pressed powder colors may be used for any application you choose. Blush may be eye shadow. Eye shadow may be brow color or liner. "Clarity Cream" Mineral Setting Powder is perfect for setting "Dual Duty" - when used as a concealer, or as a highlighting eye shadow.

  Please know that the product colors may appear slightly different on individual computer screens. I chose colors that are void of excessive blue, red or yellow tones in order to be neutral for most people's use.
