In order to complete The "Cleo Eye Design", I went on the hunt for a perfectly opaque, long-wearing, very black eyeliner pencil for the inner rim. My concerns were that it be safe for this very sensitive area and of course, contain as many natural, non-chemical ingredients as possible. I evaluated 18 different eyeliner pencils before choosing this one. First off, most eyeliner pencils won't even adhere to the "water-line" area of the eye, let alone wear - truly opaque - for hours. Next, finding a pencil design that does not contain wood, eliminates this application irritation. Plus, who wouldn't rather roll-out their eyeliner pencil instead of sharpening it? In addition, the "Roman Roll-Out" pencil contains ingredients to sustain hardness, consistency and flexibility within the formula. If you've ever experienced pencils that become "mooshy" or continuously break off, you'll know how important this ingredient balance is. Please know that this product is easily removed with an oil-free eye make-up remover. I recommend our "Strike The Set Eye Make-Up Remover".

Due to the success of the Very Black Roman Roll-Out Eyeliner, especially amongst those of the professional dance industry, we have added the Malachite Green pencil. While wearing it along the inside rim of the upper and lower lashes, the whites of your eyes reflect the cool blue-green hues of this liner, resulting in the look of brighter, whiter whites of the eyes, as well as a more youthful, enlightened energy when reflected by your eye's iris. If the whites of your eyes tend to become reddish from allergies, or other irritations, this pencil provides a great illusion - solution - for your problem. Also, the Malachite liner will finish your look beautifully, though in a more subtle styling than that of the dramatic Very Black eyeliner.

Please know, that this eyeliner pencil was formulated specifically for the inside rim/water line of your eye, where it adheres fabulously. However, if you were to use this pencil to line above the upper lashes, and below the lower lashes, you would probably not be thrilled with the results. For the purpose of outer-lining your eye, with a product that provides incomparable wear, I highly recommend our Smooth Gel Eyeliner with Taklon Brush.

Once rolled-out, your pencil will not roll back in. So just roll-out what you need at the time.
